More model informationThis is a single zoomorph motif petroglyph located at the V bar V Heritage Site south of Sedona Arizona. This example, created by the Sinagua pre-historic Native Americans, was created using the indirect percussion method typical in this area in that time period.
Note the cupule pecked into the thorax of the animal figure. These were frequently added near the heart or head positions of zoomorphs and anthropomorphs. This example is approximately 8 cm. in width.
