This is a petrolgyph located at a remote site in the Coconino Forest near Sedona, AZ. The indirect percussion style and assoication with other nearby rock art and habitation sites helps establish it’s origina but the symbol itself appears to be either a head dress or some type of accutrament to a symbolic figure show in a later model.
This model was acquired via photos taken for site documentation with exposure variation that also resulted in the camera being moved slightly allowing for 3D mesh creation. The mesh does appear to be “skewed” but the general nature of the glyph is visible
