Galerie Lindenhof - Side notes wireframe | Dissolution of the Wunderkammer

A “side note” is an additional note. In a text it is an extension, an individual addition and personal contextualization. A side note represents an individual code that another person can hardly decipher. A “Wunderkammer” links references, creates connections between objects and creates an apparent order of things. The essence of the Wunderkammer also lies in its enigma, in a subjective curation of excerpts from the world.

In our installation, the world section becomes a side note and vice versa. The apparently trivial, banal, unloved or ugly receives increased attention, becomes a special section of the world in our Wunderkammer of marginal notes and easily resolves the contradiction between middle and edge.
