Geàrraidh Fliuch is a pre-Clearnce township which was cleared and demolished in around 1828 to use its land, and that of several other nearby settlements, for the use by sheep. It is one of a few townships which was completely erased from curent reference on maps etc. Its name translates as ‘township of wet enclosures’ This farmstead was built during the sheep farming perod and may have been for a head shepherd and perhaps also had under-shepherds in dormitory accommodation in one ‘wing’ of the building. There is a small building to the back of the complex which may have been kenneling. The main wing of the building is aligned North-South. Much of the stone used in the building would have been recycled from the earlier township. It can be found at NF 7738 4112
