Grab the full tutorial, and all of the smart materials here: https://courses.stylizedstation.com/p/3dcoloringbook After a ton of studying and experimenting, I’ve now developed an exciting technique to create 100% PBR Ghibli and anime-style materials and textures. Turns out it’s not that hard to achieve an authentic handpainted look. I’ve done a ton of researching and studying, and I’ve found a style that seems to really work when creating 3d ghibli-style scenes using Substance Painter. These techniques can be applied to basically any project. I’m really looking forward to improving the process later on this month. This is going to be an ongoing series where I explore different texturing techniques you can use to achieve an anime aesthetic, so make sure to sign up before the price goes up!
