Παραδοσιακή αιγινήτικη στάμνα (κανάτι) χωρίς υάλωμα, παρά μόνο γύρω από το στόμιό του, για να διατηρεί το νερό δροσερό μέσω της φυσικής εξάτμισης από την εξωτερική του επιφάνεια (20ος αιώνας). Έχει πρόσθετο διακοσμητικό, ένα αρχαϊκό κεφάλι και γιρλάντα. Διαστάσεις: 22,5cm X 15cm.

Small-sized traditional one-handled water jar, produced in the Aegina Island (Greece). It’s crafted with the Aegina traditional way of unglazed ceramic jars in order to keep the water cool through natural evaporation from the external surface of it (20th century). It bears added archaic head and decorative frame while it is mustard glazed only around its mouth. Size: 22,5cm X 15cm.
