This group of stones is about 200m NE of the David Stirling memorial on the Hill of Row road, near Doune. The stones cannot be seen by visitors to the memorial and passing cars on the road and so is passed-by by most people. It’s row of three stones with a total separation of about 10m. he two outer stones lean considerably. The central stone is more squat and has a number of cup marks on its top surface, although the moss covering makes it hard to make many of these out. There is a large, recumbent stone adjacent to the NE standing stone, which looks as if it may have once been standing stone in its own right, but now moved to its present position through field clearance. Other stones around the monument may also have been placed here as a result of clearance. However, the whole group is on a slightly raised mound and it may be that what remains today is just a portion of a larger monument, now obliterated
