Macedonian God with snake body and human head, related to fertility and protection against the plague. This Roman marble statue, from 2nd century, was found during an excavation in Constanța, Romania.
I saw this sculpture in an exhibition, I was impressed! and I was able to take photos, so I decided to try my own photogrammetry model!
I use to work with 3D models made with this technique, fixing and optimizing them, but I had never tried doing the whole process, from the photos (with my smartphone) to the model. In this process I have learned many things, some of them I knew from theory, but I had never put it into practice before, and other questions I discovered doing the 3D model. Things about bad practices, but this is a personal model, so I decided to go ahead with it.
