Boulder on Ravensheugh Crags, SW of Wark, Northumberland.
This rock sits amongst a cluster of other carvings, to the E of the four-poster stone circle on Ravensheugh Crag. It’s referenced ‘Goatstones i’ on the Beckensall Archive (‘BA) and described as having a single cup.
NADRAP referenced the stone ‘Goatstones i 15’ on ERA in 2008, describing the motifs as:
‘One shallow cup and three other depressions even shallower.’
This model seems to show 4 additional shallow depressions, as drawn by Stan Beckensall in the 1970s.
