Prehistoric carved boulder on Goldsborough Rigg, Cotherstone Moor, W of Cotherstone, County Durham.
This scheduled monument sits to the east of the dense cluster of carvings on Goldsborough Rigg and is referenced ‘Goldsborough Rigg 7’ on ERA. NADRAP recorded the stone in both 2005 and 2007, noting:
‘The motifs consist of a single cup in a central position. At the stones south end are three feathering marks equidistant along a natural fissure, the western edge may have already been quarried away.’
