More model informationThe 131’ propeller Goliath built in 1846 was carrying 205 kegs of blasting powder when she caught fire and exploded in 1848 near Harbor Beach, Lake Huron taking 18 of the crew with her. The wreck lies in 105 ft of water and is the oldest shipwreck in the Thumb Preserve. It has an early twin Ericcson HP engine and twin Ericcson propellers. The model was created from 1553 30 Megapixel images shot with two different cameras.
