The Gorre & Daphetid railroad was a model railway made by a guy named John Allen (1913-1973). Now I could go on for a while about the man John Allen, but I wouldn’t have enought words to do it. No.34 was the locomotive used for long freight hauls throughout the railway. It’s set up with a 4-10-0 configuration and has a booster truck on the tender for extra power.
