What was originally supposed to be just a candle holder project, ended up turning into a gothic/vampiresc themed dining table scene, with a window to match! It was my firts time using so many new functions/software in the process of making a model. Like using Subtance Painter, cloth simulator and baking textures. So I had the opportunity to try out and learn lots of new stuff during this project! The candle flames are supposed to have flickering animations I made using Shape Key, but I had trouble exporting those and just kinda gave up this time. Will try doing that again for the candle holder’s individual post :’)
Textures were made either using Krita or Substance Painter. Except the stained glass window and ground tiles were done by using image textures provided in a Stylized Window tutorial I found on Youtube.
Overall this project took me like 3 weeks to complete, which includes all the time spent on figuring out how to use Substance Painter + baking textures.
Tips and feedback are always appreciated!
