3D Model

The sculptural panel at the centre of John Byres of Coates Monument, presents a figure seated on a cornucopia and leaning against a column. From a cloud above issues a cherub’s head with a scroll below. On the left of the central figure is a castle in process of collapsing, as well as a mutilated figure trampling on a skeleton. On the right of the central figure is an Angel standing on a globe. Further to the right we can see Death, portrayed as a skeleton wearing a shroud and walking with a staff.
