Projecting carved stone grotesque, positioned at the south-west corner of the south porch of St Peter the Apostle Church, Broadstairs. The figure, carved from weathered limestone, represents a beast or grotesque animal head, its muzzle extended to channel water from the guttering above. The carving is heavily eroded but retains enough definition to reveal the rounded snout, deeply undercut jaw, and vestiges of eye sockets and brow ridges, suggesting a leonine or canine form.
