Diese Gussform und der dazugehörige Barren wurde im 19. bis 20. in Laurion (Griechenland) verwendet. Metalle werden nach Verhüttung der Rohstoffe (Erze) in solchen Gussformen zu Barren gegossen, um den Transport zu erleichtern, bis sie zu zum endgültigen Produkt verarbeitet werden können. Maße: Breite x Laenge x Hoehe: 21 x 36 x 175 mm.

This mould and its ingot were used in Laurion (Greece) in the 19th-20th centuries. Metals are cast into ingots in moulds like this after smelting the raw materials (ores) to facilitate transport until they can be made into the final product.
