Hayden Paddon, born April 20, 1987, in Geraldine, New Zealand, is a rally driver. He is a two-time European Rally Champion (2023 and 2024). He is once again part of the Hyundai Motorsport team for the 2017 season, alongside Belgian Thierry Neuville and Spaniard Dani Sordo. The Korean team is considered a strong contender for the manufacturers’ title, following the withdrawal of German manufacturer Volkswagen from the World Rally Championship. Today, good news! “I am delighted to be back with Hyundai Motorsport, eight years after our last collaboration in the FIA WRC. Hyundai is a brand I am very proud of and have been loyal to for twelve years, and getting behind the wheel of a Rally1 car is a very exciting prospect.”
