More model informationThis stone projectile point is known as a Hardaway-Dalton, and it was found by Darius Vojdani at a multi-component quarry site (31WA2292) in western Wake County, NC. It dates to the late Paleoindian period (c. 8700-8000 BC). This artifact is made from quartz and measures 4.1 cm long, 2.2 cm wide, and 0.6 cm thick. This point has been re-sharpened many times and may have been left at the quarry when its owner collected stone to make new tools.
