Healthy Pediatric Blood Volume Model- Heart01023D Model
This is a human heart that was donated for research. This is a 3D reconstruction of the blood volume of Heart0102 from a 14 year old patient with no known cardiac history. In this, one can clearly observe the blood that can fill and accumulate in the left atrial appendage. In this model one can see the blood from the coronary sinus entering the right atrium and can observe one of the pulmonary veins leaving the left atrium.
We partner with LifeSource to receive donated organs deemed not viable for transplant and the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program to work with organs that were donated for Medical Education and Research.
