This is a fixed human heart that was donated for research. The donor was a 58 year old female with a history of irregular heart rhythm, type 2 diabetes, heart failure and heart disease. They also had a history of heavy smoking. The coronaries are shown with contrast. The model uses the reference number 0251.

We partner with LifeSource to receive donated organs deemed not viable for transplant and the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program to work with organs that were donated for Medical Education and Research.
