Heidentempel - Lower plateau left main entrance

The famous “Heidentempel” (Temple of the Pagans) is located in Western Styria / Austria, near the town of Köflach. Its a big giant cave labyrinth with several levels. Here is the lower left plateau, left of the main entrance.

The cave was used in pre-historic times and maybe roman times as a cult cave. Unfortunatley christians destroyed many of the roman decorations. The few remnansts were knocked off by fanatics some 50 years ago.
