More model informationHibiscus Shelter (41VV1340) is a medium-sized rockshelter located near the Devils River. This site was excavated by the ASWT Project in 2012, and the focus of the excavation was on quantifying the number of earth ovens that were constructed at the site. Three excavation units were placed on the talus to determine the depth of the midden deposit on the slope in front of the shelter. The central excavation block was excavated searching for intact earth oven heating elements.
This model was created from photos taken in 2012.
