More model informationH. floriensiensis lived ~ 100,000 - 50,000 ya. They were found on the island of Flores, Indonesia. They stood at around 3‘6”, and likely hunted komodo dragons, small elephants, and rodents with stone tools. The “type specimen,” LB1 (i.e., the fossil that researchers often use to make comparisons and theories), was found with some tools, such as flakes, blads, and perforators.
