These are animations I created for a school group project, where we needed to make a “Souls-like” game. We chose to make a candy shooter named “Sugarworld.” I wanted to make the animations goofy and readable (since you need to know the move to avoid the attack) and try to stretch a little if possible. It was my third time making a complete rig with controllers in Maya, where the only purpose was to make animations and not just simple posing. Since it is a simple ball with eyes and a mouth with a tongue, there wasn’t much rigging and animation possible, but nonetheless, it was fun to challenge myself to create impactful movements that clearly conveyed the intention without causing confusion.
