La Santa es un pueblo abandonado que se encuentra en el valle del río Jubera, en La Rioja Media. Ubicado sobre la ladera del monte Atalaya, el pueblo de La Santa se resiste a desaparecer y a la desmemoria del patrimonio cultural riojano. En el cerro y en la parte mas alta la iglesia dedicada a la Asunción domina todo el despoblado. Iglesia románica muy tardía del s. XIV y que en el s XVI se le añade el crucero, la cabecera y la torre.
La Santa is an abandoned town that is located in the valley of the Jubera river, in La Rioja Media. Located on the slope of Mount Atalaya, the town of La Santa resists disappearing and forgetting the Riojan cultural heritage. On the hill and in the highest part the church dedicated to the Assumption dominates the entire depopulated area. Romanesque church very late from the s. XIV and that in the 16th century the transept, the head and the tower were added.
