More model informationThis piece was recovered from archaeological excavations at the Anderson Mound (Jungle Prada Complex) in St. Petersburg, Florida. Rectilinear designs, based on textile patterns, can be seen on artifacts of many cultures. Similar carved bone artifacts have been found in archaeological contexts suggesting hair ornamentation and they may have been feather holders.
