This is a 3D model of the interaction between the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the ACE2 protein on the envelope of human cells such as the lungs. Annotated are several bonding sites between the two proteins, though these are not all of the bonding sites. This interaction is how the virus gets into the cell.
