A quick and dirty scan of a jack of plate recently acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum. A jack of plate is a form of armor composed of small metal plates, typically overlapping and square or rectangular in shape, stitched in to a garment composed of several layers of fabric. Keep an eye out in the future for this garment to go on display at the V&A!
