The 59 ft tug John & Alex was built in Port Dover, ON in 1924 and burned and sank in Dec 1947 in Little Tub Harbor. It is one of four tugs that lie close together at the “Tugs” dive site in Fathom Five National Marine Park, Tobermory, ON. Not much more of the Jonn and Alex tug history is published online. The photos for the model were shot in ten minutes by Andrew Goodman as part of a DPV dive to do the photography of all of the tugs which will be published separately. The model was created from 583 30-megapixel images.
