More model informationThese three models represent some of several stages the roman portrait bust of Julia Donma in the Eskenazi Museum of Art, went through to create a reconstructed 3D digital representation.
Technical
- Hundreds of images were taken of the portrait within the musem with an iPhone 7s.
- Agisoft Metashape Pro was used to photogrammetrize the images which resulted in a based 3D digital model.
- Blender was used to reconstruct and restore broken portions of the model.
- Adobe Substance Painter was then used to digitally paint and render the model.
Project
This project was a joint effort between the Advanced Visualization Lab & Eskenazi Museum of Art to reconstruct several Roman Portrait Busts.
