Junkers Ju 287 "super stuka" (low poly)3D Model
The Junkers Ju 287 was a projected Junkers attack and dive fighter aircraft. In the literature it is often incorrectly referred to as the Junkers Ju 187, although the number 187 was already assigned to Focke-Wulf.
Heinz J.Nowarra made a significant contribution to this erroneous dissemination. After the end of the project in autumn 1943, the number became free again and was later assigned to the Junkers Ju 287 jet bomber.
As a special feature of this model, the entire vertical stabilizer should be swiveled backwards/downwards about a transverse axis by approx. 60° after take-off. As a result, the actual nose edge of the tail would have been flush with the top of the fuselage and would have provided an improved field of fire for the defensive armament. Only a dummy and several wind tunnel models were made.
I made it as part of a modding project for the Total Reskin group for the PC game Hearts of Iron IV, to add a unique (quickly made) progressive dive bomber to the Germans.
