Kamianka: destroyed buildings

The village of Kamianka is an example of how war can destroy an entire settlement, leaving behind only ruins and memories. Currently, a large part of the village is still mined, especially with so-called “petals,” so the digitization of this site was mostly done by drone. It is important to preserve the memory of this place to honor those who lived there and share their story with the world.

The digitization project, supported by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, focuses on documenting the destruction and crimes against Ukrainians, aiding international recognition and condemnation of russia’s military actions in Ukraine.
