2 Week Project for Full Sail University’s Advanced Game Creation course. I was tasked with modeling a piece of clothing from reference in Maya and Zbrush for week 1 followed by retopology, uvs, and materials/textures for week 2. This is the week 1 portion.
This was my first real experience with learning the clothing creation pipeline; I had never even attempted clothes of this magnitude before (even Rosalina’s model had nothing but basic starter clothes except the skirt that I attempted off a YT vid.) I made some really big errors with the modeling, retopology, and UVing that proved to be solid learning experiences of what not to do for the next attempt. Pretty solid attempt for two weeks of work, at least in my mindset.
