Kerbstone 34 is a decorated stone dating from the Neolithic, located on the outer edge of the largest megalithic tomb at Knowth, Co. Meath, Ireland (ME019-030001-). The stone was carved in 2 phases. Initially, motifs were lightly picked out with a medium-sized point – 4 sets of concentric circles are still visible across the middle of the stone, with 2 smaller sets on the top-right and a pair on the bottom left. There is a short zigzag below the main row of circles. The large double spiral motif at the centre of the stone was added at a later stage. Low down on the stone there are lightly incised vertical lines, with some short, incised zigzags, but it cannot be determined at what stage these were carved.
