More model informationThe 172 ft Keuka was built as the A. Stewart in 1889 as a lumber barge on Lake Michigan. In 1928. it was purchased, moved to Lake Charlevoix, and renamed Keuka. It was there that it was refitted with a dance floor and deck structures to make it a party barge that could be anchored off shore or towed around the lake as a Prohibition-era speak-easy. After a shooting occurred in 1931 the party boat was shuttered and closed and eventually sank near shore in 50 ft of water from neglect. Today it is a popular dive site especially when weather is bad on Lake Michigan. The model was created from 3,220 6720 x 4489 pixel images shot in ten foot of visibility by Andrew Goodman.
