3D scan of the mandible of a klipspringer (Oreotragus oreotragus).
The klipspringer is a small, sturdy antelope found in eastern and southern Africa. It reaches 43–60 centimetres at the shoulder, has an head-and-body length between 75 and 115 cm and weighs from 8 to 18 kilograms. The coat, yellowish grey to reddish brown, acts as an efficient camouflage in its rocky habitat. Typically nocturnal, the klipspringer rests during the middle of the day and late at night. It feeds on plants, fruits and flowers.
