Office and equipment at the 1873 foundry. Casting for turbines, gears, pumps, and engines were made here. Steel was cast, rolled, and forged in what was once a remote area. Water power was used to power pullies to drive the machines until it closed in 1969. This is in Sutter Creek California where gold was gound in 1849.
