More model informationDecimated model of carved rock surface in Knock (Monreith, Dumfries and Galloway). This panel is part of a larger group with multiple carved rocks located in close proximity in a knoll. The carved rock is almost vertical, as it sits on the slope of the knoll, accompanying its natural slope. The motifs depicted on this rock face are quite complex and elaborate, with cups with multiple rings, cupmarks and other grooves. They are quite weathered and difficult to see, since the panel is sheltered from the sunlight by a number of nearby blocks.
