Knockadoobrusna Bowl Barrow & Embanked Enclosure

This is a bowl barrow (SMR no. RO006-11802) (over 30m in diameter and 5.2m high), probably dating to the early Bronze Age, which appears to truncate an earlier embanked enclosure, possibly dating to the Late Neolithic (SMR no. RO006-11801) (95m N-S; 80m E-W). It is situated on the summit of a large drumlin at c.125m OD to the south of Boyle town adjacent to Boyle Golf Club, Co Roscommon, Ireland
