Diese Silbermünze datiert in das Jahr 1768 und wurde in der Grafschaft Solms-Laubach (Hessen) geprägt. Anlass war die Errichtung der heute nicht mehr existierenden Saline Christianswerk, die auf dem Revers zu sehen ist. Auf dem Avers ist das gekrönte Wappen des Grafengeschlechts abgebildet. Verblichen ist auf dem Rand zu lesen „Tue – Recht. Scheue – Niemand.“
This silver coin and was minted in the county of Solms-Laubach (Hessen) in 1768. The reason was the construction of the Christianswerk salt works, which no longer exists today. The reverse shows the crowned coat of arms of the counts. The obverse shows the crowned coat of arms of the count’s dynasty. On the edge the faded writing “Do - Right. Fear - Nobody.” can still be seen.
