I was commissioned to make this model for a guy from the 501st who wanted to make Sith Trooper armor from KOTOR (the Knights of the Old Republic RPG video game). He was using Pepakura to fabricate it, so the detail level had to be low enough to make by hand, but otherwise as high as possible. Later I converted it for vacuum molding, and later still for 3D printing (this version). You can download the Blender source file directly here: https://peripheralarbor.com/gallery/CG+Art/Concept-based/SithTrooper/#SithTrooper
You can find the 3D printed kits here: https://www.instagram.com/kaminoan_customs/

Like this model, but need something a bit different? I take commissions! http://peripheralarbor.com/commission/

@PhantomFury It was decades ago, but I think the models were ripped from the game engine for the original KOTOR.
Those were extremely low-poly models though. This model is a manual uprez.
Instead of un-parenting the geometry, try applying the armature transform. That way the pieces shouldn't freak out and jump all over the place.
Alternately, you could hire me to do it! My commissions open up again on October 18th.
Where did you get the original KotOR model for the Sith Trooper, if it's not too much to ask? I want to model this armor myself but the resources that did have this armor only have the KotOR 2 version (which is slightly different) and proved too difficult to reconstruct when I unparent all the character rigging.
@Kalistare13 My pleasure! It is basically an uprez of the in-game model, so that's mostly thanks to the developers and whoever ripped the source file.
Thanks for sharing this file. Been looking to make a Sith Lord version of the troopers from that game. This makes that possible, so again. Thank you for sharing this.
Blender 3D is holy free tool.
Thank you for downloadable file.
