Late-Mannerist crucifix3D Model
Full name: Late-Mannerist seventeenth-century crucifix
The altar crucifix on display is a rare and original exhibit from the treasure vault of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Miechów. According to Professor Michał Wardzyński (University of Warsaw, Poland), it is a late-Mannerist object, realist in execution, Flemish and South-German in style, evocative of a group of crucifixes by Georg Petel of Weilheim (1601–1635), an Augsburg-based artist who was educated among others under Peter Paul Rubens in Antwerp.
