Norsk: To slike kurvstoler finnes i Amundsens hjem. De har vært om bord både på Fram under Sydpolsekspedisjonen og Maud på ekspedisjonen gjennom Nordøstpassasjen. Av fødselsdagsfilmen som er bevart fra 1926 ser vi at kurvstolene ble brukt ute i hagen på fine sommerdager.

English: Two wicker chairs can be found in Amundsen’s house. They were aboard the Fram during the South Pole Expedition and the Maud on the expedition through the Northeast Passage. From a 1926 birthday film, we can see that the wicker chairs were used outside in the garden on fine summer days.
