Ladoga was a Russian mine laying ship that hit a mine layed by German submarine in 1915. It lies in 40m depth south of Turku, SW from Örö, In Kemiönsaari County, Finland.
There is one gun remaining on the ship, and it is in the bow deck port side in the back. The startboard side gun was raised by Navy Dive School decades ago. I clearly should have covered the deck more tightly, but run out of time. Next time.
Diving Ladoga requires a permit from the Military Museum and from the Finnish Heritage Agency (FHA). The wreck FHA id is 1526.
The model is based on videos shot in April and July 2021.
