Lamp from Cosa Excavations 2019. Catalog # C19.174.
Description: this swan lamp is mostly intact and is missing only part of its spout. The swans on the spout are still visible. The fabric of the clay is very orange, suggesting it is of African production. The discus is obscured by encrustations, but there is a ring around the discus that is partially visible. Italian form (Vogelkopflampe), but probable African production (fabric) [Note: interior void not scanned accurately and does not represent interior cavity]
