Prehistoric carved rock found on the northern slopes below the cluster of carvings in the Lanshaw area of Rombalds Moor, West Yorkshire.
This large dome shaped stone is reference ‘IAG343’ in Boughey & Vickerman’s 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’, where it is described as:
‘Large, rounded, fairly smooth grit rock. Four grooves running down from near apex which do not appear natural.’ CSI: Rombalds Moor recorded the stone ‘Lanshaw 08’ on ERA in 2013.

This decimated model shows the carved sloping surface area and was created from 17 stereo images captured by Richard Stroud in March 2013. The imagery forms part of the HLF funded CSI: Rombalds Moor / Watershed Landscape Project archive.
