This model of a concretion from the Rooswijk wreck is a collage of several models created by Pieter Bakker, Gabriëlle Baumann and Sara Trillo who were participants at a Photogrammetry courses held in conjunction with the #Rooswijk1740 project.
It shows that a detailed model of an object can be created in a relatively short time and a fairly high quality can be achieved after minimal instruction.
The Dutch East Indiaman Rooswijk was at high risk from environmenal destruction and so a team has come together from Historic England and the Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) to undertake an archaeological excavation in summer 2017.
