Harbour Site
Sandusky, OH
This vessel comes from the Harbour Site, an ancient village on Pipe Creek near modern-day Sandusky, Ohio. Before being reconstructed in the lab, the fragments of this pot were found alongside fish bone and chert (flint) fragments in a pit, Feature 95.
Considering its small size, this pot was more likely used for serving rather than cooking.
