Blocchi di macigno, rinvenuti nello scavo del giardino, con iscrizioni incise: P CLXXXVIII (pedes 188) e P CXCI (pedes191), che corrispondono a 55,65 e 56,54 m. Si tratta probabilmente delle misure lineari dei muri perimetrali dell’edificio a pianta quadrangolare; tale ipotesi sembra confermata dalle dimensioni del lato sud dell’edificio (circa 56 m), l’unico interamente conservato.
I blocchi sono conservati al Museo archeologico di Piombino.
Block of limestone, found during the excavation of the garden, with engraved inscriptions: P CLXXXVIII (pedes 188) and P CXCI (pedes 191), equivalent to 55,65 and 56,54 m. Probably these are linear measurements of the north-south and east-west sides of the perimeter wall.
Both blocks are now preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Piombino.
