Prehistoric carved rock found in the Low Plain area on Baildon Moor, West Yorkshire.
Another ground level carved rock found amongst a cluster of other carvings, cairns and remains of co-axial prehistoric field system in the Low Plain area. Boughey & Vickerman referenced the stone ‘IAG 162’ in their 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’, where they described:
‘Small ridged rock with uneven surface, possibly incorporated in design. Sixteen cups, two joined.’
CSI: Rombalds Moor Project subsequently recorded the stone ‘Low Plain 13’ in 2012. Some of the cups previously recorded weren’t visible due to turf coverage.
